DAWN LERMAN
Professor of Marketing and Executive Director, Center for Positive Marketing, Fordham University
Dawn Lerman, Ph.D. is a brand linguist, consumer psychologist, and author of the book The Language of Branding: Theories, Strategies and Tactics. In addition to being a Professor of Marketing at Fordham University, Dr. Lerman is Executive Director of Fordham’s Center for Positive Marketing and Special Advisor to the Provost on Strategy.
She serves on the editorial review board of the Journal of Business Research and is an active member of the board of directors of the ANA Educational Foundation (AEF), where she also serves as Professor-in-Residence. She is also a designated "Thought Leader” for the CMO Assembly of the Millennium Alliance, a leading technology, business, and educational advisory firm headquartered in Midtown Manhattan, where she serves as a member of their board of directors.
Prior to her academic career, Dr. Lerman was a researcher in the press office of the CRIF, a non-profit organization in Paris, France and then a business analyst at The Ferolie Group, a leading New York-area food broker, where she was responsible for several major brands including Ragu and I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter.
